Tel Aviv offers a dynamic, contemporary cityscape alongside a fast-moving hi-tech and startup scene — home to development centres for Microsoft, Apple, Amazon, Intel and many other international corporations, alongside Israel’s own hi-tech sector.
Beyond our own studio space, we have access to filming studios across the city, from single-presenter booths to fully equipped multi-camera studios, and our Tel Aviv office runs on a fast fibre-optic connection for upload and file sharing.
A Documentary Hub, Not Just a Business Capital
Beyond its hi-tech and startup scene, Tel Aviv is a documentary subject in its own right — a compact, walkable, multicultural city where secular nightlife sits streets away from religious neighbourhoods, and where LGBTQ life, immigration, tech entrepreneurship and the city’s Bauhaus (‘White City’) architecture have all drawn international documentary crews. Jaffa, the ancient port city fused into Tel Aviv’s south, adds a layer of Ottoman and Arab history within the same short drive.
Because it’s our home base, a Tel Aviv documentary shoot benefits from the shortest possible turnaround on everything else we provide — crew booking, equipment pickup, editing and any last-minute permit or fixer request — without the travel time a location shoot elsewhere in the country requires.
Talking-Head Interviews & Studio Space
Many documentary productions use Tel Aviv primarily for interviews — with founders, academics, journalists, officials or witnesses based in the city — and we can arrange anything from a quiet office or hotel-room setup to a proper studio session in our own space or one of the multi-camera studios we have access to nearby.
For productions that need a second interview location outside the studio, Tel Aviv’s cafes, rooftops and waterfront promenade all offer natural, recognizable backdrops without the permit complexity of a religious or government site — a practical option when a shoot’s schedule is tight.
